Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I keep trying to put my story on there, and it keeps telling me like... that it only allows a-z, 0-9, and punctuation, and im pretty sure nothing else is in itXD but it just won't let me submit! then, when it does, it tells me that it only accepts 7-150 words... I CANT WIN WITH DAT SITE
I discovered the problem! I posted it for you. Thank you sooo much!! The problem was kind of complicated. So you typed appostrophy ', but you must have typed it in another program and copied and pasted or something because it appeared as a character in a different encoding and my filtering thing wouldn't let the message go through. So basically copy and paste might not always work. Or, did you not copy and paste? Did you type it in the box from scratch?
at the beginning yes, I wrote it twice in the box, then because it wouldn't let me keep it and it would go blank everytime i'd go back, I decided to write it in my word program.
That's odd that it went blank when you clicked back. I guess that only works in certain browsers. And, that's odd, I don't know how or why your message contained those characters then. Maybe your browser is set by default to a different character set. Idk. Well I'm very sorry that you have that problem.
